I love watching the gurus and pros create beautiful looks for themselves and others! And I love wearing a full face of makeup. However, they’re days when a glam look isn’t always what I’m going for. Or if not a glam look I sometimes don’t want to do a full face of makeup, sometimes just a quick, simple, and easy no-makeup look is just what’s needed for me to feel great!
The wonderful beauty of makeup is it can add a little oomph to anyone’s day! To enhance features and give a little pick-me-up. But you don’t always need a full glam look. Sometimes we don’t have the time and a simple and easy no “makeup” makeup look is the next best thing to feeling put together and looking like the best version of ourselves.
What Do You Need For A No-Makeup Look?
The key to achieving a no-makeup makeup look is knowing your skin type. Your routine of course begins with a good skincare routine! That’s the basis of our routine to achieve a perfect no-makeup look. Or any makeup look for that matter. As someone with very dry and very sensitive skin, I love products that are hydrating and dewy! My favorite moisturizers currently are the dewy skin cream by Tatcha and the Skinfix triple lipid cream. A foundation that is your perfect match, or a concealer if you prefer to spot conceal instead of opting for a foundation. I love using a lightweight foundation that is light coverage so my skin still peeks through for the ultimate no-makeup look!
Supergoop Glow Screen SPF 40
As I’ve said, the key to achieving a flawless no-makeup look is to make sure you have a good skincare routine! And an SPF is a must! But the Supergoop Glow Screen SPF 40 is amazing for a no-makeup look! As the name implies, it provides a beautiful glow! If you find this to be a bit too much of a glow, use your regular sunscreen and a primer (such as the Essence primer serum) with a less subtle glow.

This foundation is so lightweight! It provides a beautiful, luminous finish making your skin look hydrated, and healthy, and most importantly there’s no caking up nor settling into fine lines! This is your skin but better!
Elf Camo Hydrating Concealer
I dab a little concealer under the eyes and wherever I have some redness or dark spots peeking through. Blend, blend, blend and add more if needed. And this is my go-to because of how long-lasting it is!

When it comes to the eyes, I will usually go for a highlighter such as this one. To be honest, I haven’t used highlighter in a bit except on the eyes and brow bone.
